Blog 6: English Language Challenges
Hi
everyone! This is the last blog and I’m going to talk about the English
Language Challenges.
To start,
I’m gonna say that I was so afraid with the idea of having English classes at
university because I thought that it was going to be so difficult and boring
haha, and I was a little bit disappointed for not being exempt and have to do
the two latest English levels. But I have to say that, even when I only had
English classes this semester, the face-to-face classes has been so funny and
understandable, and I love the methodology that the class has and the
evaluations it has. In relation with this, I have a good experience with the
evaluations, and particularly with the blogs I find it entertaining and a good
form to evaluate and practice the language.
Now, I said
that I was disappointed for not being exempt, but with the classes I realize
that I needed to have English classes again because my skills with the language
worsened, especially in the speaking. So, to improve it, I think that I could
practice with my friends or my family, mainly with the little ones because they
could learn and practice easier. Other idea to improve the speaking is read and
speak something, like the lyrics of the English songs that I love.
Finally,
outside the English class, I think that I use English in few times in
comparison with the years before the quarantine, and I use the language when I
listen to English music, when I watch movies and series that has that language,
when I read short English texts, when I use random English words to answer,
like “crazy” or “yeah”, even when someone’s ask or talk to me in Spanish haha,
and that’s it! :)
Hi Ayleen! I agree with you abou the blogs, I think that it were very entertaining
